The Lebenson Gallery is pleased to introduced the next solo show of Visual System at the Lebenson Gallery London on April 2021.
We are also very proud to announced that the collective will showing a new work at La Gaîté Lyrique, Paris on december 2020, as part of an outdoor exhibition.
Visual System (Valère Terrier, Julien Guinard, Zelda Bensoussan, Bertrand Planes, Pierre Gufflet, Joanie Lemercier) is a collective of artists created in 2007 based in Paris and specializing in light work.
Their field of activity extends to architecture, production music, computer programming and graphics to develop large-scale light installations.
By diverting new technologies and experimenting with its potential, Visual System uses light and sound as of a spatial and spectral tool.
This experimental approach foreshadows the future evolution of interactive technologies, the widespread use of LEDs, the perception of space induced by light and sound from the human scale to the urban scale.
Visual System brings together artists from various disciplines (image, sound, visual arts, programming, design, architecture).
The participatory notion is important in their work and even offers the public to take place in the creations.
